When rumors that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce would be saying “I do” at the very arena the pop star has sold out time and time again, there was more than a bit of skepticism. At first thought, the decision seemed like the opposite of everything Swift has been singing about for the past two decades—from the fairytale castles of “Love Story” and “White Horse” to the remote, overgrown countryside of “The Lakes.” But the more people started to realize that, of course, with a bit of imagination and the right team (both of which the bride certainly has), the New York City landmark of Madison Square Garden could be transformed into the magical venue of her dreams. Plus, what other venue would be as private and secure?
Therefore, any recent doubts that have come in ahead of the weekend-long festivities—particularly the ones voiced after equipment, catering, and security personnel were already spotted outside of the arena—have been filed under the “MSG deniers” category. Until, perhaps, now.

According to Page Six, the couple has already exchanged vows, getting legally wed in an intimate ceremony in front of just a small group of friends and family. “They are already married,” one of the outlet’s sources claimed.
Another confirmed the same idea, noting that there were rumors that a small ceremony took place in Swift’s adopted hometown of Nashville, Tennessee—where she moved as a young teenager at the beginning of her career.
Regardless, the newlyweds will celebrate their union this weekend with a smaller rehearsal dinner tonight and a grand 1,000-person MSG party on July 3—allegedly.
