March 17 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump ‌has invited ‌farmers and biofuels producers to ​a "celebration of agriculture" event at the White House scheduled ‌for March ⁠27, CBS News reported on ⁠Tuesday, citing sources familiar with its ​planning.

Reuters ​could ​not immediately verify ‌the report.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has sent its proposed 2026 and ‌2027 biofuel blending ​quotas ​to ​the White House, ‌with a final ​rule ​expected before the end of March.
