A college baseball coach took the long way home during a game against a conference rival over the weekend.TCU head coach Kirk Saarloos was tossed from the game against Oklahoma State on Saturday, May 2, after he lost his cool arguing with umpires about a call — but it was what he did afterwards that really had fans hypnotized.Footage from the seventh inning of the game shows Saarloos shouting at officials after a video review on a defensive out was upheld.

“What is he arguing about?” the announcer asked rhetorically as footage rolled of Saarloos screaming. After he was ejected, the coach then inexplicably gathered a personal item — a leather briefcase more suited for the office than a ballpark — and began to walk slowly off the field.Follow your favorite athletes on and off the field with PEOPLE's free sports newsletter — sign up now!Due to a quirk of the ballpark at O’Brate Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Saarloos had to walk all the way across the field to get to the clubhouse — which was concealed behind a wall in the outfield — and he seemingly milked his minute-long exit for all that it was worth.
