Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married!
The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, tied the knot on Friday, July 3rd, in a glam ceremony held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Swift rep confirms to PEOPLE.
"The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry," says the statement.
"Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor andJason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler."
The night before the couple's nuptials, they kicked off the celebrations with an intimate rehearsal dinner with family and friends at the iconic venue's Infosys Theatre.
Loved ones — including Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Abigail Anderson, Erin Andrews, Charissa Thompson, Greg Olsen and Aric Jones — were seen arriving at the venue for the festivities wearing sequined looks and jewel-tone dresses. Bradley Cooper and Ashley Avignone were also spotted separately en route to the event while Selena Gomez shared a glam selfie from her car.
Ahead of Swift and Kelce's celebrations, sources told PEOPLE that Madison Square Garden has been "transformed" in the days leading up to the wedding.
On Monday, June 29, multiple trucks were spotted outside the famous arena with workers loading equipment, grass and other decorations inside. Boxes labeled "Garden Party" and "Mirror Ball" were spotted outside the venue.
One source told PEOPLE they've "never seen" Madison Square Garden "look so different."
Ahead of their big day, a rep for Swift told PEOPLE that the 14-time Grammy winner and Kelce made a staggering $26 million donation to various organizations "this week," including Feeding America, the ASPCA and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post shared on Aug. 26, 2025, which included several photos from their enchanting garden proposal. The pictures showed Kelce getting down on one knee and the pair embracing each other after he popped the question.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," Swift wrote in the caption.

In the photos, Swift showed off her custom engagement ring, which was designed by Kelce with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. The sparkler features an old mine brilliant-cut diamond on a gold band.
In an Aug. 26, 2025, episode of The Jimmy & Nath Show with Emma, Travis' father, Ed Kelce, revealed that the football star asked Swift's father, Scott Swift, for his permission around a month prior to the engagement.
A source close to the then-newly engaged couple told PEOPLE that "the Kelces adore Taylor," referring to Travis' parents Donna and Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie.

"She goes out of her way to show the whole family how much she cares for not just Travis, but all of them, down to Jason's kids," said the source, adding: "They're all very, very happy that Travis has Taylor in his life. She's entirely changed his world in all the best ways, and they're true partners. Taylor gets along so well with the family and they're just her biggest fan."

The power couple met after Kelce revealed that he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at one of her Eras Tour concerts. Although he was unsuccessful, he publicly declared his interest in Swift on his New Heights podcast in July 2023, and they began seeing each other shortly afterward, thanks in part to Taylor's mom.
"I’m looking at the headlines and perusing around on the internet and I see that this guy came to your show and he brought a friendship bracelet and wants to meet you,” Andrea Swift recalled during episode four of Taylor Swift: The End of an Era. "So I call up my resident expert on the Kansas City Chiefs, my cousin Robin, and I go, ‘Tell me about this guy named Travis Kelce.’ ”
It was cousin Robin’s response that really sealed the deal for Andrea, who immediately noticed a telling green flag. “She goes, ‘Oh my God, he is the nicest guy! And he really loves his mom.’ And I went, ‘Ding, ding, ding, ding,’ ” Andrea said, laughing. “And then I said, ‘Now, how in the world am I going to get her to meet him?’ ”
In her own appearance on New Heights — the episode of which released on Aug. 13, 2025 — Swift joked, "I owe a lot to this podcast. This podcast got me a boyfriend ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago."
Since their romance went public, Swift and Kelce have both been open about their love and respect for one another.
At the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2024, Swift gave a special shout-out to Kelce in her acceptance speech, saying, "Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic. So, I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that."
After Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC championship and earned their spot at the Super Bowl in January 2025, Swift joined him on the field and told him, "I love you. I'm so proud of you."
While appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Dec. 10, 2025, Swift called Kelce "the love of my life."
As the singer and Colbert discussed recent big moments in her life, Swift said, "getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back. Those were two things that just might never have happened. They could have just never happened. It wasn’t like, 'Oh, it's just a matter of time.' ”
In a November 2023 interview for the cover of WSJ. Magazine, Kelce dived in to the start of his relationship with Swift and how it has all progressed since.
“There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: 'Yo! Did you know he was coming?' I had somebody playing Cupid," Kelce told the outlet. “She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out."
Being with Swift, he continued, was a whole new ballgame, as he's "never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them."
“But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it ... The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life," he said. "When she acts like that, I better not be the one acting all strange.”
