Sir Alex Ferguson hospitalized prior to Manchester United match vs. Liverpool
Ahead of Manchester United's match against Liverpool on Sunday, May 3, former manager Sir Alex Ferguson was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
According to multiple reports, the 84-year-old felt unwell at Old Trafford before the game. After receiving medical attention, Ferguson was taken to the hospital.
Despite the fears over Ferguson's health, the BBC reported that club officials believe that the legendary manager will return home soon.
Ferguson, who managed Manchester United for 27 years, suffered a brain hemorrhage back in 2018.

"I haven't got any updates. I did hear about it before the game so I was aware of that. All I can say is I was affected," Carrick said in the post-match press conference.
"We wish him all the best and hopefully the result gives him a good boost."
