Serena Williams is returning to the court in style.
On Tuesday, June 30, the athlete, 44, returned to competitive singles tennis at Wimbledon in London after nearly four years away from the sport. She took center court in front of a packed crowd wearing a custom Nike look consisting of a white mesh tank top and matching mini skirt, adhering to the championship's all-white dress code.
Williams let her personality shine through her blinged-out manicure, which perfectly complemented her oval-cut diamond engagement ring from husband Alexis Ohanian. Her short, round nails were decked out in massive crystals in shades of silver and gold.

Ohanian, who proposed to Williams in 2016, supported his wife from the players' box at Wimbledon. The couple married in 2017 and share daughters Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., who goes by Olympia, and Adira River Ohanian.
“Our little family is so proud of you @serenawilliams - even though it wasn't the outcome you wanted, you're an inspiration,” the tech entrepreneur, 43, wrote alongside a carousel of images posted later that day.

In her bid to return to tennis for the first time in nearly four years, Williams lost in the first round at the All England Club in three sets — 6-3, 6-7(6), 6-3 — to 20-year-old Australian Maya Joint.

Though Williams ultimately lost the final set, the 13-time Wimbledon champion thanked her family and fans for the support in a Wednesday, July 1 Instagram post. She also revealed that she suffered an injury during the match.
“I tweaked my knee late in the first set, but I'll be doing everything I can to be ready for doubles with @venuswilliams,” she wrote.
Williams continued, “It felt so good to be back on the grass ata @wimbledon. I'm incredibly thankful for the wild card - and even more grateful my daughters got to see that it's never too late to chase something you love.”
