NBC is debuting the action thriller Line of Fire starring Peter Krause and Hope Davis

The Traitors: New Blood will feature everyday contestants instead of celebrities, raising the stakes for participants

Tea Leoni and Tim Daly are starring in Newlyweds, a sitcom produced by Jamie Lee Curtis about an unlikely romantic pairing

As the seasons begin to change, so does NBC’s lineup, bringing a fresh roster of shows to enjoy.

The network is airing a collection of its fan-favorite renewals as well as some new shows for its fall 2026 programming, including the family drama Line of Fire and sitcom Newlyweds, both making their debuts.

NBC is also bringing more to its reality slate, as The Traitors is returning — but with a twist. Rather than celebrity favorites competing on the murder mystery reality show, The Traitors: New Blood will see host Alan Cumming fill his roundtable with a cast of “ordinary Americans.”

“What I’m really looking forward to is the fact that there will be more at stake for people,” Cumming told PEOPLE in August 2025, adding that the prize money “will make more of a difference in people’s lives.”

Below is everything to know about the new shows coming to NBC’s fall 2026 lineup.

Starring Peter Krause and Hope Davis, Line of Fire centers on a family of law enforcement officials on a mission to find an assassin.

Jenna Bush Hager, who is one of the show’s producers, spoke about the series alongside Krause during a May 2026 Today broadcast. “It tackles some dynamics that I think everybody can relate to,” she said.

“They’re all members of protective services, and when you’re protecting other people, can you also protect the people you love?” Bush Hager added.

The series also stars Kat Cunning, Tommy O’Brien, Charlie Barnett and Taylor Bloom.

Line of Fire premieres on Monday, Sept. 21, at 10 p.m. ET.

Newlyweds

In a meta twist, NBC has enlisted two actual newlyweds — Tea Leoni and Tim Daly — to star as an odd couple in the upcoming sitcom Newlyweds.

In the series, Daly plays Tony, a straight-laced, recently divorced man who meets Jeanie, a free spirit who challenges his rigid way of life. Ready for a change, he decides to go along for the ride.

The series is produced and co-created by Jamie Lee Curtis. In March 2026, she shared an image of a TV with the show’s logo in an Instagram post, writing, “I couldn’t imagine being a part of a better group of artists and technicians and very funny writers and performers.”

Newlyweds premieres on Friday, Oct. 23, at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The Traitors: New Blood

The Traitors isn’t a new series — it’s a hit Peacock reality show similar to The Mole, in which a group of reality stars compete while being secretly deceived by some of their peers, who have been designated the secret Traitors.

However, the upcoming season, titled The Traitors: New Blood, will feature an all-civilian cast instead of celebrities.

“We won’t go in with preconceptions of the cast because we don’t know them, and I think that will be fascinating,” Cumming told PEOPLE in August 2025. “There will be more of a slow burn getting to know people.”

The Traitors: New Blood has a two-episode premiere on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
