Prince William is reportedly struggling with the news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’sreturn to the UK. According to a source, the Prince of Wales feels his life has been “derailed” by the move. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in England on August 26 with their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, six years after stepping back from royal duties and moving to California.

After spending six years in Montecito, California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK earlier this week. The Sussex children will reportedly attend new schools in the Cotswolds, close to the family’s new residence, starting next week.
According to sources, Harry is delighted to be back in his home country and is genuinely excited to reconnect with friends and family in the UK. Meanwhile, the return of the non-working royals reportedly caught Prince William and Kate Middleton off guard. A source claims that the Waleses feel that the sudden homecoming has ‘derailed’ their lives.
According to the insider, the royal pair is currently spending time with King Charles and Queen Camilla in Scotland. The Windsors are apparently weighing the consequences of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s UK return. Meanwhile, staff have denied that any private summits are happening.

Elaborating on this, the palace source who spoke to Vanity Fair explained, “There’s a sense that William is going to have to be watching over his shoulder the whole time. He doesn’t know what his brother is going to spring on them all next.” They continued, “This was meant to be a happy time for him. Catherine is doing well, and George is just about to start Eton. This has just derailed them.”
Despite the Sussexes making Britain their base again, they will live as private citizens and will not undertake any royal duties. Royal observers, however, are questioning the motive behind the decision and how long their “long-term stay” will actually last.
