Panthers claim Ravens OL Corey Bullock off waivers

One of the Baltimore Ravens' former candidates to start at center has landed with another team. The Carolina Panthers claimed offensive lineman Corey Bullock off waivers Monday after Baltimore waived him while setting its initial 53-man roster, according to the NFL transaction wire.

Bullock's departure closes an eventful offseason in Baltimore.

The Maryland native entered the spring as one of the players competing to replace Tyler Linderbaum at center, joining Danny Pinter, Ethan Pocic and Jovaughn Gwyn in the competition. An offseason medical issue prevented Bullock from participating fully during the early portion of the summer before he passed his physical and returned to practice Aug. 5.

Bullock originally joined Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in 2024 after beginning his college career at North Carolina Central and finishing at Maryland. He spent his rookie season on the practice squad before appearing in 16 games for Baltimore in 2025. Bullock played 55 special teams snaps and 13 offensive snaps as a reserve lineman.

His versatility at guard and center gave Baltimore another developmental interior option, but the numbers ultimately worked against him when the Ravens established their roster. Had Bullock gone unclaimed, Baltimore could have attempted to bring him back on the practice squad.

Carolina eliminated that possibility by placing a claim.

The Panthers are getting a 24-year-old, 6-foot-3, 320-pound lineman with experience at multiple interior positions and two years in Baltimore's developmental system. For the Ravens, Bullock becomes one of the first notable casualties of having a deep roster during cutdown weekend.
