Details of Big Brother alum Amber Siyavus’ death have been revealed.

According to a police report, her body was found alongside drug paraphernalia.

Siyavus died on Oct. 9 in Las Vegas at the age of 46.

New details have emerged in the death of Big Brother alum Amber Siyavus.

Siyavus was found dead in a Las Vegas home on Oct. 9 at the age of 46, the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner in Nevada confirmed to Entertainment Weekly at the time.

Although a cause of death has not been disclosed, according to a police report obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, Oct. 27, Siyavus was allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia. The outlet reported that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department discovered Siyavus unresponsive in her room after her aunt noticed she was lying in bed in the same position for more than four hours.

In the report, police said Siyavus was found holding what appeared to be a white snorting straw and a lighter. When they moved her body, officers discovered aluminum foil with burnt residue and a small plastic bag containing white powder underneath her. According to TMZ, officers also found numerous prescription pills in her luggage, along with four Narcan sprays, which are emergency medications used to reverse drug overdoses.

Siyavus’ aunt told police she had previously attended rehab for heroin and unidentified pill use. She reportedly recently returned to Las Vegas from Michigan to visit with her mom.

The report stated that Siyavus’ aunt noticed she was lying sideways in her bed at around 7 a.m. but thought she was just asleep. When she went back in the room around 11 a.m. to check on her, the aunt realized Siyavus wasn’t responding and called police and medical services, who pronounced her dead at 1:40 p.m.

No official cause of death was shared in the report. EW reached out to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for further comment.

And, later that year in September, Siyavus pleaded guilty to felony forgery over Western Union money orders, according to TMZ.

She also faced a terrible tragedy after her 18-year-old daughter, Lexi Tomcavage, died in Ohio in January 2018. An investigation ruled the teen’s death to be the result of an apparent suicide.

Siyavus appeared on season 8 of the popular reality series Big Brother in 2007 and finished in seventh place. She earned the nickname “Whamber,” due to her repeated crying bouts. She also became the first houseguest to make it to the jury phase without winning a Head of Household or a Power of Veto competition.

Host Julie Chen Moonves reacted to the news of Siyavus’ death by sharing footage of her exit interview on the show to Instagram.

“Rest in Peace Amber,” Moonves wrote. “Hard to believe but I know you are back in our eternal home with our Creator. Thank you for your heart and honesty. We will remember you with love.”
