While we're still a few weeks away from the start of organized team activities (OTAs), the Chicago Bears are back on the practice field for the second phase of their offseason program in head coach Ben Johnson's second season.
The first two weeks focuses exclusively on meetings and strength and conditioning. But for the next three weeks, until OTAs kick off May 27, players are on the practice field for workouts, including individual and group drills. There is no live contact or offense vs. defense team drills during this phase. It essentially mimics a walkthrough.
The Bears' social media account provided a glimpse at those on-field workouts, including drills with the wide receivers and running backs, as well as a look at free-agent addition Coby Bryant sporting his new jersey number.
