Kid Rock is speaking about his friendship with President Donald Trump.
The "All Summer Long" singer, 55, who's been a supporter and friend of Trump, 80, for years, gave a new interview to Sky News as part of a one-hour special titled Trump's America: 250 Years in the Making about their relationship to one another.
Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, told the outlet his friendship with Trump is "f---ing awesome" and noted that texting the President is "one of my late night drinking tricks because I know when to get him."

"He's so gracious, he always picks up or he'll call and check in just to shoot the s---," said the rocker. "He's not calling me to [ask], ‘Hey, what should we do in Iran, Bob?’ I don't get those calls."
"But, if I’m sitting around having some beers if it's like 11, 12, on a Friday or Saturday, I know he's up," added Kid Rock. "He sleeps like me, he sleeps five hours."

Kid Rock explained he enjoys "hanging out with him and talking with him and just having a front row seat to the greatest s--- show on earth."
He also addressed criticism that Trump is "making so much money" during his presidential term after the U.S. Office of Government Ethics released a 927-page document earlier this week indicating he's earned at least $2 billion in personal income since taking office in 2025.
"No s---, cause he's a f---ing businessman, he’s smart," said Kid Rock. "He did that before he was President, and I know his heart and soul."
Previously, Kid Rock has performed at Trump's presidential campaign rallies, visited the White House and spent time with him at public events including a 2024 UFC match.
In February, Kid Rock performed at Turning Point USA's All-American Halftime Show, which ran parallel to Bad Bunny's 2026 Super Bowl halftime show performance. "I think the president would much prefer a Kid Rock performance over Bad Bunny, I must say that," said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt at the time.
