Jimmy Kimmel thinks he has an idea for getting ICE out of Minneapolis.

On Thursday's episode of *Jimmy Kimmel Live*, the comedian noted that President Donald Trump looked thrilled that Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado presented him with her own Nobel Peace Prize on Thursday at the White House. (She said that she gave Trump her accolade for his "unique commitment to our freedom.")

"Trump loves awards. Giving him an award, it's the only way to get him to do anything, and, with that said, Mr. President, I have an offer I think you're going to find difficult to refuse," Kimmel said of his frequent critic. "If you, and only if, you agree to pull ICE out of Minneapolis and put them back at the borders where they belong, I am prepared to offer you one of the following trophies that I have been honored with over the years."**

Kimmel's stash included a Daytime Emmy Award that he won in 1999, for Outstanding Game Show Host on *Ben Stein's Money*, plus a Clio Award, a Webby Award, and a Writers Guild of America Award.

"Best of all," Kimmel joked, "I'm willing to hand over my 2015 Soul Train Award for White Person of the Year if you do this. The choice is yours. I will personally deliver any or even all of these to the Oval Office in exchange for leaving the people of Minneapolis alone."**

Then he instructed sidekick Guillermo to return the trophies to his safe.

The conversation had begun when Kimmel showed a photograph of Trump grinning alongside Machado after receiving her gift, although the committee that hands out the awards noted that the honors can't be transferred.

"Have you ever seen anyone happier than that, than [him] winning this prize he didn't even win?!" Kimmel said.

He joked that Machado was seen leaving 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with a gift bag.

"Thanks for the Nobel Prize,"Kimmel said. "Here's a Make America Great Again mug. We appreciate you stopping by."

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and residents of the Minnesota city continue to clash, after officials' recent raids on the city resulted in death.
