- Paige Price is calling out critics who had something to say about her and Frankie Muniz's divorce announcement.

- The *Malcolm in the Middle* actor revealed the news on social media with a video of him, Price, and their 5-year-old son, Mauz, dancing.

- "I can't believe people could scrutinize that," Price wrote under Muniz's new post after he deleted the original announcement.

Paige Price is calling out critics who were "cruel" to her estranged husband, *Malcolm in the Middle** *actor Frankie Muniz, over his original social media post announcing their divorce.

On Wednesday, Muniz posted a new version of the lengthy statement revealing his breakup from Price after seven years of marriage. The new version did not include the originally posted video of Price and Mauz dancing together in their living room to "Check Yes, Juliet" by We The Kings. He uploaded a new post with the same message that simply featured a photo of him and Price smiling to the camera.

"Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you," Price wrote under the comments of Muniz's new post. "This world is so f---ed... divorce is bad, sure — it's not like we're excited about it... but we're two adults who know how to be on the same team. I can't believe people could scrutinize that."

When a user asked Paige why she shared the comment publicly, she replied that she had already spoken directly to Muniz "1000 times."

"And I'll say it through text just as much because I genuinely care. That's the point," she added.

Paige also took to her Instagram Stories to send a message, seemingly referencing the public's reaction to the first announcement. "The internet is a scary place. I wish you all a kinder sea," she wrote over a black and white photo of the ocean.

After Muniz shared his first post, some social media users reacted by saying they were "confused" by the "weird" dancing video, with others accusing Muniz of "celebrating breaking up his family by divorcing his wife."

Conservative political commentator Michael Knowles slammed what he called a "bizarre" and "offensive" clip, claiming the accompanying message made him "nauseous."

"Muniz deleted the bizarre video of him and his wife dancing to celebrate their divorce. But he reposted the same nauseous text," Knowles wrote in a post quoting Muniz's new post on X. "This is the most offensive part of liberal 'morality.' It's not enough that we tolerate their sin and vice. They demand that we celebrate it. Divorce is profoundly evil. Sometimes people do it. There’s more we could do to limit it. But in a fallen world, it will occur. Such is life. But to ask that we celebrate it? It’s simply beyond the pale."

Muniz replied to the extreme response, writing, "It wasn’t to celebrate our divorce. Far from it. We grieved our divorce beyond anything you can imagine. It was to celebrate the fact that we’re both adults and can handle it like adults moving forward, amicably."

"Everyone is just used to the hideous mudslinging a lot of couples do at the end of a relationship so they don't know how to take it when two people are cordial," he added.
