Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding inspiration may look familiar.

In photos taken by NBC News outside of Madison Square Garden in midtown Manhattan, police officers held binders, seemingly with plans for the wedding.

The folder, which read "Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Wedding," with the date "Thursday, 7/2," featured an image of the couple from when they got engaged in August 2025.

Kelce's engagement to Swift, which took the internet by storm, took place in an enchanting garden created in his backyard, filled with pink and white flowers.

As for what their wedding venue looks like, it has been "transformed," one source told PEOPLE of Madison Square Garden, adding, "I've never seen it look so different."

Though there was speculation that the couple was even building a castle in MSG, a source told PEOPLE that wasn't the case. "But it looks very special," inside the arena, per the report. "They have grass, carpets and canopies, and it looks like a place where you'd get married. There's a stage set up, but it's special."

A second source confirmed to PEOPLE that Swift and Kelce that there wasn't a castle. "Absolutely not....There's no castle being built. Not at all."

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement with five pictures on Instagram. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," they captioned the post, which featured pictures of her sparkling engagement ring, the elaborate floral display and trellis covered in elegant flowers and greenery.

Months after their engagement, Swift shared how the magic garden came to be.

"We filmed the podcast for about three or four hours," she said in October appearance on *The Graham Norton Show*, referring to the *New Heights *podcast episode she filmed with Kelce and his brother, Jason. "And meanwhile behind his house, he was having the whole back garden turned into this."

"And one of the things that he put in there, very strategically, was a wall of hedges that weren't there before. And inside the hedges was my tour photographer hiding in bushes that had not previously been there," Swift added. "He went all out – 10 out of 10."

Fans have spotted members of Swift's inner circle in New York this week as the reported wedding celebration gets closer, such as Sabrina Carpenter, Aaron Dessner, and Ed Sheeran.

Swift's private plane arrived in Morristown, N.J. on Tuesday. Kelce, meanwhile, was spotted jogging in Manhattan that same day.
