Over 17 years after the release of their 2008 film* The Secret Life of Bees*, Dakota Fanning and Queen Latifah joined forces once again to present the awards for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series — Drama and Best Television Series — Drama at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday. **

The costars were all smiles as they took to the stage together and even showcased their strong bond by finishing each other's sentences during their introduction. "My friend from *The Secret Life of Bees* and I are here to present the award for Female Actor in a TV Series Drama," Latifah began. **

Based on Sue Monk Kidd's 2001 novel of the same name, *The Secret Life of Bees* follows a young teen named Lily (Fanning) and her maid Rosaleen (Jennifer Hudson) as they hitch-hike to Tiburon, S.C., in the middle of the Civil Rights Movement in 1964. It's there that the pair meet August Boatwright (Latifah), a successful beekeeper who takes Lily under her wing.

The film, which was written and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (*Love & Basketball, The Old Guard*), also starred Alicia Keys, Sophie Okonedo, Nate Parker, Tristan Wilds, Paul Bettany, Hilarie Burton, and more.
