Britney Spears' sons are giving a glimpse inside their runway debuts — and how their mom played a part in it.
19-year-old Jayden James and 20-year-old Sean Preston made a joint modeling appearance in the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show on Friday, June 26 and have revealed to Vogue exactly how the "Circus" singer reacted to their career milestone.
"Oh my god, she was so nervous for us," Jayden told the outlet in an interview published on Thursday, July 2. "She was just looking out for us and making sure that this was what we wanted to do."
He then revealed that Spears wasn't in attendance at the show, but still made sure to send her boys a token of support. "...She sent us flowers to our hotel as a good luck thing, and called and texted us so many times. It was good to have that and to carry that with us before we went out there," he shared.

When asked if their pop star mom, 44, passed along any tips on stage presence, Jayden said, "I feel like she knew we had it. She was like, 'Yeah, you guys are my sons. You've got this.' "
Preston and Jayden, whose father is Kevin Federline, wore polar-opposite outfits down the runway. The former donned a long black coat over a matching shirt and tie, dark wash jeans and dress shoes, while the latter rocked a white tank top with light wash jeans and olive green boots.

Jayden admitted that the moment came without preparation.

"We knew about it way before it was going to happen, but I didn't start really preparing myself until we got into Paris," he shared. "Then you're like, 'Oh, it's getting real now. It's not a joke anymore.' Preston and I were always just checking in on each other, asking each other how we were going to walk, and making fun of each other a little bit. We were like, “Don't make that face. You can't make that face..."
He also said that Vetements creative director Guram Gvasalia provided guidance.
Preston admitted that modeling down a runway wasn't something he considered for himself. On what inspired him to finally make the leap, he added, "I just did it because it was the brand Vetements, and there were such incredible people there. When you're there in person, it's different than everything you see online—the energy is just crazy."

Their appearance at Paris Men's Fashion Week came approximately two months after Spears checked herself into a treatment facility after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol on March 4 in Ventura, Calif.
A source later told PEOPLE that the Grammy winner's sons played a “big part” in getting her into a treatment facility. “She was very upset and shaken after her arrest. And she's terrified of going to jail. It's taken weeks for her to realize that going to rehab is the best option."
